Focusing on project financial analysis and derived thereof on determining whether a project is bankable or not.
- Perform financial due diligence and analysis on prospective projects and
recommend an investment decision
- Develop an investment and funding policy aligned to the company strategy and an investment criterion for evaluating the best repayment outcome for projects
- Create financial models that enhance return on investment of projects and financial planning.
- Analyse company accounts and financial projections and advise the company on how to best position its investments
- Liaising with fund managers, company managers, stock market traders, stockbrokers and regulators with a view to expanding funding access while improving market perception
- In-depth examination of the investment portfolio to identify savings and other value enhancements such as refinancing
- Compiling research on competitor investment and the market as a whole
- Preparing presentations to be delivered to the senior investment team and developing high-end presentations for potential clients and financing institutions

**Requirements**:

- BA/BCom degree in Economics or Finance or other related field
- 3-4 years’ experience in the same or similar role.
- Experience in an investment bank would be an added advantage.
- Analytical understanding of the agricultural market.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel-based financial modelling
- Experience in Project Finance of Agricultural projects is desirable.
- Experience in working across functional teams is desirable.
- Knowledge and experience in Agriculture, primary agro-processing, and controlled environment agriculture sector is essential.
- Risk management experience
