**Location: Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal.**
There is a newly created job opportunity _available_ for a _**_Credit Reporting Analyst _**_to take up the next opportunity with _**_a highly recognised financial institution._**
- Will be _**_reporting to the Credit Manager_**_._
**Position Overview**:
To **_develop, manage and monitor relevant reporting models_**, to **provide advanced analytical support**, to **_critically analyze and advise the department on data driven insights_** and **_trends_**, and create and **_maintain accurate data, dashboards, and management reports._**
**Key Performance Areas** **include**:
- **Monthly analysis** on **key Credit Risk areas.**:
- Use **SQL to extract** and **analyze data** to **_make data-driven, actionable recommendations about how to improve policies and processes._**:
- **Work closely with the Data Science team** to **_price and implement Machine Learning_** or AI models that optimizes portfolio outcomes.
- **Data development and maintenance,** using assist and advise on creating and maintaining data in the optimal manner.
- Compile Month End reports and distribute in a timely manner.
**Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
- **Bachelor’s Degree In Finance**, **_Economics, Mathematics, Business Science_** or similar field.
- **Proficiency in SQL.**:
- **Advanced Excel**.
- **_2-5 Years’_** **experience in Data Analytics**, **_Modelling and Reporting_**.
- **_Financial / Credit risk_** _analytics_ _industry knowledge._
