**TECHNICAL MANAGER (Manufacturing)**

**Rosslyn Pretoria**

Our client in the automotive industry requires and experienced Technical Manager,

Reporting to the Regional Leader, this role will plan, lead, prioritize and coordinate all activities on behalf of the company, to ensure the availability of the current industrial installation and plant readiness for new installations during the pre-series, SOP and launch phase.

**Key Performance Areas**

Coordinate between plant management and project team to ensure a joint implementation of the integration and launch plan

Perform gap analysis between current plant organization and project requirements and define sub projects to close these gaps

Plan and lead the implementation of plant readiness topics related to facilities, staffing, training, internal processes and process documentation

Develop launch program as per ramp-up volumes

Analyze potential risks out of industrialization process (dies, assembly, part quality, etc.) and define mitigation plans together with the project team and plant personnel

Lead maintenance processes, installing equipment, repair and overseeing the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process through making equipment available for production for longer periods and executing long term strategic plans

**Minimum Qualifications/Experience Required**

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Btech in Technical Sciences

Minimum 3 years management experience in a technical role in the **automotive industry**

Minimum 3 years in managing new tool industrialization

Minimum 3 years experience within a process engineering discipline
