Our client currently has an opportunity for a Structural Layout and Detail Draftsman who is proficient in the Autodesk suite of software, preferably AutoCad and Revit. Navisworks and Recap will be an advantage.

The successful incumbent will have 5 - 10 years’ experience in design, layout and detail draughting (not shop detailing).

**Position details**:
Job description / core competencies:
Initiate structural layout designs and concept drawings.
Develop concept designs drawings to AFC level with input from Structural Engineer.
Convert point cloud scans into CAD models.
Operate point cloud scanner on site.
Complete concrete drafting and reinforcing detailing and bending schedules to AFC Level.
Generate BOQ’s for related drawings.
Conduct on-site site measures and scoping.
On-site inspections of mining infrastructure including occasional underground visits.
Work must be completed within a reasonably quick turnaround time.
Work must be accurate and reasonable free of gross errors

**Job Qualification & Experience**:
5 - 10 years’ experience in design and layout draughting.
5 - 10 years’ experience in detail draughting (not shop detailing).
Proficient in Autodesk suite of software. Preferably Autocad and Revit. Navisworks and Recap will be an advantage.
1-2 years’ experience in point cloud scanning and modelling.
Some concrete drawing experience will be an advantage.**Company Description**:
