**Function of the role**:
Siemens Digital Industries is looking for a Sales Development Representative that is responsible for “opening doors” for our sales team, connecting with new businesses or new prospects at existing customers. You will work with the Digital Business team and sales team to identify and develop new business opportunities. We will train you on the overall value proposition of the solutions you are selling to be able to quickly communicate the message to prospects.

You will work with outside sellers or channels like e-commerce. Drives customers' decision making from remote either in conjunction with general sales channels or in direct contact with customers.

**Responsibilities of the role?**
- Qualifies and categorizes customers by gaining insight into customer’s business model and identifies business potential through digital channels (ZoomInfo, Bombora, LinkedIn)
- Identifies the buyer’s role and level of participation in the decision process
- Adapt and drive Sales campaigns for digital sales customers (coordinate BU campaigns on LinkedIn)
- Develop new opportunities for cross and up selling
- Use digital sales engagement(Outreach) to respond and interact with prospects based on its preferences within a marketing funnel
- Development of strategies to help the sales organization convert prospects
- Systematically follow-up on qualification activities to develop total qualified opportunities that produce an above average close rate
- Enrich and profile our databases (Eloqua, Outreach and Salesforce)
- Use digital software tools that are aligned to the digital customer journey
- Improve conversion rates, e.g. manual to digital orders, digital quotes to orders
- Implements tactics which are in line with the overall mission statement to sell products or services online, interface to IT Support
- Ensure a fast and easy connection of customers to the digital environment

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Relevant Degree/Diploma in Marketing Management or equivalent
- 3-5 years’ experience in sales marketing preferably in the B2B industry
- Experience with creating and maintaining digital campaigns on various social media platforms
- Understanding of marketing and sales funnels as well as lead generation
- Experience in online marketing and digital engagement tools to qualify leads such as LinkedIn/CRM etc (Advantageous)

- Ability to connect with customers and build strong working relationships
- Works well with a team and has strong communication skills
- Ability to research and quickly translate information into action
- Self-motivated and target driven
- Must be able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
