**Description**:
Manage company's supply chain and provide operational and leadership support in executing business strategies in order to meet customers needs by making recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelors degree, or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years experience in supply chain
- Pharmaceutical industry experience essential
- Hands-on experience re: Master Production Scheduling /Planning/Warehousing/Logistics and Customer Service experience
- Sound experience in managing staff
- Reliability in meeting set deadlines, set priorities and uses organization and administration skills.

**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:

- Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
- Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
- Efficient management of all distribution channels, inwards and outbound
- Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
- Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
- Oversee various company warehouses
- Evaluate and select information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials or products distribution, storage, or inventory
- Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies
- Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance
- Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or receiving and indirect procurement
- Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service
- Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality
- Confer with supply chain planners to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products
- Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers
- Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, or to discuss production forecasts or changes
- Liaise and manage the Supply Chain relationship between Sales and Manufacturing
