What are we searching for in an Admissions Counselor?
- Responsibility & high motivation
- Customer service experience
- University degree
- English proficiency
- Spanish & Portuguese are a plus We're looking for responsible, highly motivated individuals who are ready to work from home earning commissions in USD. Prior customer service experience is a must, preferably in a call center setting, since our Admissions Counselors are asked to handle a high volume of calls to prospective students that have expressed an interest in our educational programs. As an American University most of our students are English speakers, but since our cutting edge programs are also available in Spanish and Portuguese, proficiency in these languages is a plus. Admissions Counselor Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate the prospective student to know if they have what it takes to become a AIU graduate.
- Guide prospective students through interviews, paperwork and conduct follow-up interviews.
- Manage effective recruiting operations in adherences to university standards.
- Avoid legal liability issues through thorough adherence to state, federal and local educational law.
- Enhance our admission department and overall reputation with excellent counseling and strong student body relationships. Requirements:
- 1-3 yrs Customer Service/ Sales and/or Telemarketing experience
- Able to work remotely and coordinate with personnel around the world
- English Speaker 100% (like native speaker), English Writing 95%
- Can achieve a high volume of outbound calls, 70-100/day
- Must have stable internet connection with minimum 5MB/s download 1MB/s upload speed
- Computer/PC running authentic copy of Windows 7 or higher, minimum 4GB Rams and a 2.0Ghz Processor. Familiarity with Windows, Outlook and Word Who are we?
