Activities and Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential leads and opportunities for commercialresearch and consulting projects.- Collect and manage data from various sources including market reports, researchpublications, and industry databases;- Analyse both quantitative and qualitative data from industry trends, competitor activities,and market conditions to inform business development and marketing strategies usingdata-driven research.- Utilise data visualisation and analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to generateactionable insights.- Maintain and update databases of potential clients and partners, as well as Witsexpertise and resources;- Prepare detailed reports, summaries, and presentations that convey research findingsand market insights.- Support the business development team with data-driven insights for client pitches andproposals;- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute solutions for potentialclients, ensuring alignment with institutional goals.- Participate in team meetings to present and discuss research findings and contribute tothe development of business development and marketing strategies.Minimum requirements:
- A tertiary qualification (NQF 7 / University degree) in Business, Economics, B.ComMarketing, Mathematical or Statistical Sciences, Computational and Applied Mathematics,Information Engineering, or a related field;- At least 2 years of relevant working experience.Desirable experience and qualifications:
