**Job Title - **Sales Advisor

**Position - **Full Time - Permanent**. **This role includes working at weekends and evenings working on a shift basis.

**Based - **Century City, Cape Town

**Reporting to - **Sales Manager

**Salary - **Basic R16 600 + Uncapped Commission

**On target earning Potentials**:R25k +

**About Imagine Cruising**

Our Head Office is in the UK with a team of 170 and we are trading in South Africa for 10 years along with Australia, (Brisbane & Perth).

Imagine Cruising believes in developing the knowledge, capability and skills of all staff in the company. That may mean that from time to time we will ask staff to be flexible in working in and supporting different areas of the business either within their own teams or through working with colleagues on projects and activities around the business. This will help develop both individuals and the company as a whole in our fast moving and developing business.

**Job Purpose**

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic, highly driven and target focussed person who loves sales and can demonstrate their ability in achieving KPI’s. In this role there may be future opportunity to travel to one of our offices overseas if you are eager to learn and you have the ability to sell the amazing holidays we provide to our customers. Sales is the first part of the customer journey with Imagine Cruising, therefore we are looking for an individual who has the required passion and skill to provide excellent service to our potential customers.

**Typical activities**:

- To service inbound sales calls and understand the customers’ needs, build rapport and offer expert cruise and land holiday solutions
- Provide excellent service to all our customers, adapting the approach taken for each call.
- Create fantastic customer engagement, understand the customer’s requirements, pitch and close the sale
- The ability to offer the customer alternative solutions if the original offering does not meet the customer requirements
- Meeting, or exceeding, company KPI’s
- Making accurate cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations quickly and efficiently
- Produce accurate administration work to complete booking process
- Work pro-actively as part of a team within a large department of Sales Advisors bringing energy and drive to a fast moving and dynamic environment
- Work effectively with other departments to ensure understanding of products

**Skill set required**:
**Essential**
- Highly motivated sales person who is results orientated, driven to accomplish goals and have a high degree of self -motivation
- Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations
- Proven sales history with the ability to hit company KPI’s
- The ability to identify with customers, establish rapport and build relationships
- The ability to adapt style to provide the customer with a personalised service
- Takes responsibility for actions and results
- Has the ability to thrive under pressure
- Can demonstrate resilience and focus on opportunities, high quality and business profit.
- Has excellent communication and listening skills
- Can be flexible in approach and able to work weekends and extended or additional hours to suit business requirements.
- Great attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and the internet.

**Desirable**
- Must have experience of call centre sales or travel sales

**Salary**: From R16,600.00 per month
