PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The purpose of employing a Legal Counsel is to provide legal advice and assistance legal support primarily
to the sales, finance and operations teams within the

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE

Quality legal service
- Providing legal services in a professional manner and adhering to the relevant professional codes

of conduct; and
- Review and advise on legal terms related to RFP submissions.

Risk Management
- Enforcing corporate policies and ensuring that all contracts meet corporate risk standards; and
- Anticipate, guard against, and advise on legal risks involving the companies in your Group.

Research and Contract Management
- Provide general legal advice, including legal research;
- Negotiate and draft contracts from company templates or customer paper including NDAs,

software license agreements, SaaS agreements, professional service agreements, supplier

contracts and distribution agreements; and
- Establish contract administration procedures to ensure that efficient contract management.

Administration
- Maintain the organisation’s legal files and ensuring that the working practices are in accordance

with its policies and regulations;

Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with other members of the international legal team and managing external counsel

as required; and
- Communicate orally and in writing with all levels of our organization (internally and with customers

and suppliers).

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Law degree and Admission as an Attorney essential
- Master’s degree such as LLM desirable
- Three to five years’ post-article experience
- Experience in negotiating software licensing agreements, SaaS agreements and professional

services agreements is preferred
- Experience in drafting government tender responses and related contracts preferred

KNOWLEDGE
- General knowledge of privacy laws
- Sound corporate and commercial legal knowledge
