**MAINTENANCE FARM FOREMAN - FM1933**

**Lichtenburg Area - North West**: Our client is looking for a Maintenance Farm Foreman to join the team.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license (truck driving license will be an added advantage).
- At least 5 years of working experience, working independently, executing farm equipment maintenance and repairs in agricultural business.
- Having worked on an arable farm, and understanding basics of crop production
- Experience in maintaining irrigation systems.

**PERSON SPECIFICATIONS**
- Diesel mechanic
- Boiler making
- Electrician skills (automotive, and 2/3 phase)
- Irrigation system maintenance
- Agricultural GPS systems
- Operating Farm machinery
- Basis understanding of Crop production.
- People management skills

***KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**
- Ensure that maintenance & repairs farm equipment is done correct and in a timely manner. Drive a safety culture within the workshop to prevent safety incidents and achieve 0 Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) through the Safety Interactions and Good Catches.
- Keep farmyard, and workshop in a clean state.
- Complete farm irrigation system maintenance and repairs on time and avoid repeat failures. Supervise staff and field operations in absence of the farm manager.
- Ensure equipment is maintained in a safe order by putting guards and covers in place
