Key responsibilities:
Release and Deployment Management
- Define, document and audit Release and Deployment management process and procedures to
- align with ITIL,COBIT governance frameworks
- Mature Release and Deployment management process to COBIT level 3 (Defined) and define
- roadmap and guidelines to Level 4 maturity
- Definition of a Release and deployment management strategy and operating model
- Definition of clear roles and responsibilities considering other ITIL processes
- Evaluation and alignment of existing toolsets to the new or improved processes
- Definition and creation of release and deployment management templates
- Definition and implementation of agile and Devops release and deployment management
- processes
- Define and implement Release Management SLA’s, KPI’s and Dashboarding
- Knowledge transfer
- Pilot “To Be” Processes
- Provides recommendations and makes decisions for mitigating process and/or service
- performance deficiencies

**Testing**
- Define and improve Quality Management Process and procedures to align with ITIL and COBIT
- governance frameworks
- Mature Quality Management process to COBIT level 3 in line with Test Strategy Road Map
- Define and improve Quality Control Process
- Define and Improve Quality Management Quality Gates
- Define and improve Quality Management and Control Metrics
- Define Quality Management Review Intervals within the SDLC
- Define and Improve Quality Management Artifacts Templates (Reports, Test Plan, etc)
- Define management of Test Environments strategy
- Define Application Security Testing, Infrastructure Testing, DevSecOps, BizDevOps and Agile
- Test Strategy

Key performance measures:

- Both processes have reached level 3 maturity as per COBIT
- Roadmap and guidelines on how to reach Level 4 maturity have been defined and
- understood
- Both processes have the relevant process templates and supporting processes and
- guidelines defined
- Both processes satisfy the needs of both current and new users, technological advances,
- and competitive demands
- Knowledge transfer completed and functions performing independently

**Important relationships**
- Relationships with the Quality Management team members and management
- Relationships with the customers of the Quality Management processes especially project
- Relationships with other process owners that work closely with both processes
- External Relationship:

- Relationships with vendors allocated to / providing services

**Knowledge, experience, and personal competencies**

**Education and experience**:
**Release and Deployment Management**
- 3 Year degree in Information Technology or Equivalent
- Minimum 8 - 10 years’ release and deployment management experience
- Advanced knowledge of system and software SDLC and leading practices, methodologies
- including Agile, DevOps and/or ITIL frameworks
- Relevant ITIL v3 certifications preferably RCV and COBIT implementation
- Experience in definition and implementation of Release and Deployment Management
- processes
- Proven professional who can effectively interact with others to accomplish tasks within tight
- schedule, ability to prioritize tasks with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be dependable, outgoing and positive with excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience working as Release and Deployment consultant in a multi-functional organisation.
- Experience in project managing initiatives or other relevant experience
- Experience with facilitating workshops
- Experience in negotiating for desired outcomes
- Experience in documenting processes

Testing
- 3 Year degree in Information Technology or Equivalent
- Minimum 8 - 10 years’ release and deployment management experience
- Advanced knowledge of system and software SDLC and leading practices, methodologies
- including Agile, DevOps and/or ITIL frameworks
- Relevant ITIL v3 certifications preferably RCV and COBIT implementation
- ISTQB certified
- Understanding of testing concepts i.e., testing methodologies and techniques.
- Knowledge of the BPT (Business Process Testing) Framework
