**Job Purpose**:
You will oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of information security standards and frameworks across the business. These standards encompass administrative, technical, and physical security controls, addressing the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information in all formats. The goal is to mitigate information risk to appropriate levels.

**Job Responsibility**:

- Assess current ICT security environments, evaluating trends and anticipating security requirements.
- Assess and reinforce ICT security standards within the business to improve our overall security posture.
- Determine security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic ICT audits.
- Identify and resolve ICT security problems as and when they arise.
- Safeguard and protect information system assets by defining and implementing access privileges, control structures and resource assignments.
- Implement and maintain ICT security controls.
- Assist with drafting, implementing, and maintaining ICT security and infrastructure policy and procedures.
- Assist with the maintaining of our defined and measured information security strategy and management plans.
- Update and maintain the ICT security risk register.
- Develop plans to safeguard computer files against unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure.
- Monitor and operate ICT security systems (E.g., Firewalls, Malware Prevention Systems, Vulnerability Assessments Tools).
- Monitor and upgrade computer anti-virus and malware protection systems where required.
- Perform regular audits on ICT security systems used by the business to secure digital assets.
- Identify and engage with cyber security service providers to assist with performing external cyber security audits.
- Assist with cyber security awareness campaigns, training, and knowledge sharing.
- Keep users informed of any ICT security concerns or issues and provide sound security advice to business.
- Assist with information cyber security audits and responses.
- Assist in maintaining network and ICT security infrastructure systems and solutions.
- Contribute to the ICT infrastructure’s team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending ICT security community forums and or workshops.
