Payroll Consultant

**We're looking for**

A Payroll Consultant who will be responsible for overseeing and managing full payroll functions, maintaining accuracy, and keeping abreast of
- and administering statutory changes and updates on the payroll system.

- You have good knowledge and understanding of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
- You have good knowledge and understanding of the Department of Labour and its requirements.

**What's the role?**

**You will be responsible for**:
Monthly/Bi-weekly Payroll Processing:

- Process employees on payroll from onboarding up to offboarding, including annual increases/bonuses Process monthly earnings, deductions.
- Import of hours worked and checking of reporting.
- Leave setup per employees and processing of leave.
- Monthly reporting as required.
- Prepares payroll checks for distribution and authorisation.
- Managing salary payment release function.
- Handle administration and payroll queries.

Statutory payroll:

- All SARS EMP201 and EMP501 submissions.
- Ensure that UIF and COIDA submissions are made.

- Matric
- Tertiary Qualification - BCom Accounting/Finance/BCompt.
- Payroll related training courses.
- Must be able to resolve PAYE queries on payslip.
- Relevant HR knowledge is an advantage.
