ROLE OVERVIEW

This is a sales-focused role. You’ll manage the daily retail experience, speak to walk-in customers, follow up on leads, close sales, and ensure basic store operations are handled professionally. You’ll be the key in-store contact for customers, working closely with our Admin Assistant and management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Customer Service
- Welcome walk-in customers, explain product options, and close sales
- Follow up on leads assigned to you
- Prepare quotes and invoices using our sales system
- Convert leads into paying customers and push daily sales targets
- Provide professional after-sales service and product support when needed

Store Operations
- Open and close store, ensure security and cleanliness
- Manage daily POS sales and cash-up reports
- Accept deliveries, manage inventory handovers and parts
- Handle stock allocation for technician jobs
- Escalate complaints, refunds, or complex queries to admin or management
- Capture all sales activity in system daily

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 1-3 years experience in retail, tech sales, or store management
- Strong communication skills in English and Afrikaans
- Must be tech-savvy
- Comfortable working alone and taking initiative
- Must be punctual, responsible, and customer-focused
- Must be sales-driven and eager to meet performance targets
- Bonus: Basic knowledge of plumbing or water heaters is helpful (training provided)

COMPENSATION

R 5000 base salary + uncapped commission + performance bonus

opportunity to grow into Senior Sales role within 6-12 months

Pay: From R5 000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
