**Duties and responsibilities**

**General**
- Compliance with security procedures and health and safety
- Maintain warehouse/workshop in a tidy fashion
- Maintain stores to ensure correct stock levels and replenishments
- Ensure a smooth flow of stock from procurement department through to the various projects
- Maintain general power tools stores and maintenance cycles
- Perform power tool, ladder and scaffolding inspections

**Qualifications**
- Grade 12
- Minimum 5 years’ experience

**Job Description/Functions**
- Planning & organising stock & inventory
- Accepting and checking deliveries
- Maintain records
- Prepares outgoing stock and material
- Inspects stock and material
- Records damaged or missing goods
- Storage and stock control
- Issue Job Stock to Personnel
- Sign out power tools and perform basic tool return check in
- Create stock cards
- Weekly stock inspections to balance with inventory
- Two annual stock takes to be done per year
- Accounting of received stock from supplier’s vs delivery notes and invoices
- Coordinating daily operations and maintaining inventories
- Preventing excess stock eliminating non-usable items, and solving inconsistencies between inventory and stock records
