**A permanent vacancy exists for a Phlebotomist in Paarl for the Donor Division (Grade B5)**

Purpose of the Job
- Screening of Donor
- Phlebotomy procedure
- All Donor Attendant duties - Clinic Reception and Blood Collection

**A combination of the following skills, knowledge and attributes is required**:

- Good interpersonal skills
- Have a friendly disposition and willingness to “go the extra mile”
- Accuracy in data collection
- Fully multilingual
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Skilled in customer services and the ability to deal with the public
- Willingness to relocate to Paarl

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Certificate in Phlebotomy Techniques
- 1-2 years Phlebotomy experience is essential
- Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
- Previous Blood Transfusion experience would be an added advantage
- Computer Literate
- Reliable transport
- The working hours are variable i.e. shift basis including weekends
- A code 08 driver’s license without endorsements
