Content Lab is a post production facility specialising in the localisation of multi-media content. The world-class localisation facility is based in Cape Town, Airport City. **About the Internship**

This is an exciting internship opportunity for graduates who have completed a qualification in Film & Media (script writing) or Linguistics and Communication and are looking to work within a growing industry.

Interns will learn about the localization process, how to adapt scripts for film and television as well as how to Subtitle for film and television. A sound knowledge base in linguistics, screenplay writing, creative writing, film or script adaptation or even translation would give you the upper hand when applying.

Applicants may be required to do short assessment to assess their creativity, language capability and grammar skills.

**You will learn**:

- The localisation process and how each department impacts the end product
- How to prepare and adapt a script for a particular target audience
- How to create a professional subtitle file for a particular target audience
- How to deliver a quality product whilst remaining creative, consistent and functioning within a team of professionals
**Qualifications or Experience**:

- Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in either Linguistics or Creative Writing Experience in media or film industry
**Specific Skills**:

- Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Postproduction processes
- English and Afrikaans comprehension
- Driver’s license/ reliable transport (offices at the airport)
