**Forklift Driver**

A leading logistics and distribution company in Durban is seeking a skilled and certified Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient handling and storage of goods within our busy distribution center located in the bustling industrial area of Pinetown, Durban. This position is ideal for individuals who are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

**Location**: Pinetown, Durban

**Salary Range**: R7500 to R12000

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate forklifts to transport goods and materials to and from storage areas, machines, loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities.
- Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
- Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
- Perform daily equipment checks, such as recharging the forklift's battery and lubricating equipment.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Follow safety regulations and standards at all times within the warehouse environment.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or maintenance problems to the supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator.
- Good understanding of industrial equipment and safety precautions.
- Excellent physical condition and coordination.
- Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
