Program Manager Pretoria East - Gauteng

You will be required to lead and manage a team of Project Managers and therefore must have the ability to manage IT Engineers. The Program Manager is responsible for leading a portfolio of contracts, programs and projects. You will be accountable for overall customer satisfaction, successful delivery of program outputs (products, solutions, and services) as well as achieving financial program performance objectives

Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

- IT Degree essential, coupled with financial qualification would be preferred
- PMP certification and MBA will be highly advantageous
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in complex program or projects management, ideally in public security or software integration companies
- Strong Project Management and Financial acumen
- Ability to understand and align the broader objectives of the program with business and strategic goals
- Strong business acumen - financial management and budgeting skills, negotiation skills, including contract negotiations
- Ability to develop strong relationships and influence customers and decision-makers
- Demonstrates strong leadership, inter-cultural communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrates a results-oriented, rigorous attitude and disciplined decision-making

Key Result Areas
- Establish key priorities and objectives and manage relationships of internal stakeholders as well as partners and suppliers
- The main interface for all program negotiations and communication including crisis and escalations
- Manages customer and stakeholder's expectations
- Facilitates and performs pre-sales activities associated with each account, including strategic planning with the customer(s) with the Sales Manager counterpart as appropriate
- Defines program strategy jointly with the top management team and the account manager
- Provides reliable forecasts and ensures appropriate levels of resource support for timely project delivery, operations maintenance and issues resolution
- Manages all risks and issues that arise throughout the program life cycle
- Manages contract P&L and achieves targeted turnover and margin
- Provides account and program status updates to customers and top management using the appropriate BU governance channels and tools

Package: CTC includes Medical Aid, Pension, 13th Cheque and Performance Bonus, up to 20% of annual Basic salary
