Butchery Manager

**BUTCHERY MANAGER**

Our group is expanding and we're looking for fresh new talent to join our dynamic butchery team. As a butchery manager you will be responsible for maintaining a well-run butchery team by ensuring smooth operations and positive customer experiences of the store.

**Key performance areas**:

- Perform people management functions in the butchery.
- Ensure client satisfaction of our customers.
- Ensure product and stock availability through effective planning.
- Take responsibility for all quality control activities in the butchery environment.
- Manage the administrative functions within the butchery.
- Perform stock management functions within the butchery.
- Manage all Hygiene and Safety activities of the butchery.
- Conduct various ad-hoc responsibilities to assist the team.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**
- Must have matric or a NQF 4 qualification.
- Blockman NQF 3 qualification would be advantageous.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Butchery Manager in a customer centric environment.
- Basic knowledge of first aid will be advantageous.
- Meat Industry Experience.
- Knowledge of butchery hygiene and safety standards.
- Knowledge of meat cuts/products.
- Experience in working with Halaal products.

**SALARY: Market related / Negotiable**

**Salary**: R18,665.00 - R20,836.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Midrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:
