**Descriptions**:
We have a full time Showroom Consultant position available at our showroom in Durban, Florida Road

Required to work every second Saturday

**Main purpose of the job**:
Promote and sells Hertex merchandise, sample books and partnership programmes to customers and maintains the image and oversees the effective operations of the showroom in order to meet sales targets

**Requirements**:

- National Senior Certificate
- Tertiary qualification in a related field is an advantage
- Three years sales experience in a wholesale or retail environment
- Exposure to an interior design/decorating environment
- Own reliable transport
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Customer service orientated
- Sales driven
- Self-motivated
- General business acumen

**Main duties**:

- Meet showroom sales budget
- Maintain showroom operations and standards
- Build productive relationships with customers by advising and selling to customers in the showroom and handling internal and external complaints and queries
- Support field sales by supporting the internal sales consultants
