Job Summary
- LexisNexis’s suite of online solutions is dynamic, cutting edge and exciting. As a customer trainer for LexisNexis you will be responsible for planning, organizing, leading and supervising customer training sessions. You will deliver superior online and onsite customer training programs and classes for customers and employees so that they derive maximum benefit from their subscription solutions. The trainer will develop and undertake ongoing training in allocated target segments. The incumbent will also be responsible for writing and developing training materials and tools to support the organization’s customer base.
- Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of onsite and online training services to external customers.
- Identify training needs across customer segments through needs assessment and ensure all opportunities for client developments are acted on.
- Update and maintain manuals and end user documentation used for training.
- Identify, document and address unique or recurring client problems.
- Assist in testing new developments and changes of system that will affect training and support to the end users.
- Provide the products department with market feedback (i.e. pricing, product features, and recommendations).
- To work with relevant departments to continually implement new ideas and improve the way training is administered and fulfilled.
- To liaise closely with sales team to align the training activities with the online renewal process and customer retention initiatives.
- To achieve monthly training KPI’s and targets related to quality, market penetration and online product usage.
- Core Competencies
- Excellent training and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In addition, strong communication and customer service skills are required as well as advanced organization, time management, and analysis skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide on-site face to face, virtual and field setting, training.
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills

- Desired Experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 Years with proven success in a training delivery role
- Experience with web browsers and online research (advantageous)
- Preferred Qualifications/Requirements
- A relevant Certificate/Diploma/Degree within the training field
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to accommodate approximately travel and schedule flexibility
