**Responsibilities**:
Act as Learning SME, supporting the leadership team, managers and Kuba learners.
Manage and implement L&D projects and various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, online training).
Carry out Learning Needs Analysis activities to identify and prioritise learning needs in the business and assist managers in developing their team members.
Assess and Develop learning interventions that address the priority development areas. This will involve creating or working with external partners to obtain/develop engaging, accessible, inclusive, and effective course content, resources, and programs.
Evaluate learning outcomes to ensure solutions are effective and have met business needs.
Assess the success of training and assist employees to make the most of learning opportunities.
Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes.
Ensure learning processes, policies and records are maintained.
Management of Kuba’s LMS, including upload and creation of courses, handouts, instructional materials, workshops and manuals.
Preparation of reports, highlighting trends and making recommendations.
Maintain own knowledge and understanding of L&D trends and developments.
Create and execute learning strategies and programs.
Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions.
**Requirements**:
Passionate about learning, the employee experience, and diversity and inclusion.
Three or more years of relevant experience in learning and development, training and/or related talent fields.
Experience in administering/maintaining at least one Learning Management Systems (LMS)/Learning Experience Platform (LXP); Familiar with recognised e-learning technical standards, e.g., SCORM.
Current knowledge of instructional design and/or curriculum development.
Proven ability to master the full training cycle.
Familiarity with talent management and succession planning.
Experience with facilitating virtual and classroom workshops and sessions.
Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
Excellent administrative and organisational ability.
Strong attention to detail.
HR qualification / L&D qualification
SETA accreditation would be advantageous
Nice to haves
Familiarity with Google Suite.
Experience working with an international audience.
Experience with BBBEE, especially as it pertains to training/L&D.
Relevant experience of SETA requirements.
