**Assistant General Manager**

**Salary**: R35,000 - R50,000 per month (dependent on experience)

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations of the hotel to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Conduct continuous staff training to maintain high standards of service.
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of hotel operations.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to implement and uphold the hotel’s brand strategy.
- Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor, interacting with guests and staff to ensure a positive experience.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to service excellence.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Well-spoken and able to effectively communicate with guests and staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Valid driver’s license required.
