Hyperconverged Infrastructure

We are recruiting for a **Hyperconverged Infrastructure & Backup Specialist / Hardware Engineer role,**to replace legacy Dell equipment, on an ad-hoc contract. The role involves **installation, configuration, and optimization** of all hardware components to ensure full functionality and seamless integration into the existing IT environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assess current Dell infrastructure and design a **hyperconverged solution** for replacement.
- Implement and configure **backup solutions** to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
- Install and configure **hardware components**, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate the new system into existing workflows.
- Conduct **testing and troubleshooting** to resolve any technical issues.
- Provide **documentation and training** for IT staff on system usage and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with **security and data protection policies**.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- VMware Certified Professional DCV Certification is required.
- Proven experience with **h**yperconverged infrastructure (e.g., Dell VxRail, Nutanix, VMware vSAN).
- Strong knowledge of backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, Dell EMC Data Protection Suite).
- Expertise in hardware installation and configuration.
- Familiarity with networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
