**Application Criteria**:

- B.Com., B.Bus.Sci, B.Sc. (Maths, Accounting, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Physics) or equivalent.
- Open to other tertiary qualifications depending on experience and evidence of quantitative abilities.

**Experience**:

- 2 to 5 years of experience in financial services preferably some experience in unlisted investments
- Will be required to be a FAIS compliant representative or work towards obtaining the relevant qualification

**Reports To**:

- Head of Portfolio Management team- Providing portfolio analytics services in relation to discretionary managed clients with a focus on unlisted investments
- Monitor and assess the incumbent managers alongside the portfolio management and investment research teams
- Ensure that drawdown schedules for the unlisted portion of assets are efficiently and effectively monitored and updated
- Attend, and in time, represent the company in LPAC meetings
- Analyse and monitor the exposures and risks around these portfolios on an ongoing basis.
- Assists in the construction of client portfolios and products that target different kinds of investment objectives

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Monthly and quarterly retrieval, validation, reconciliation, analysis and preparation of data
- Develop an understanding of the market, risks and tools as well as systems used.
- Data interrogation and analysis
- Client and internal report generation
- Checking of reports generated by other Analysts
- Interpretation and analysis of report results
- Submission of reports to clients
- Client report back presentation generation
- Communication with clients and responding to report queries
- Aid in improving processes including automation efforts to improve efficiencies
- Ad hoc analyses
- Manual recalculation of some statistics
- Market-related salary
