We are recruiting for a Junior/Mid Weight Graphic Designer for our client within the womens personal care industry based in Umhlanga.

**Responsibilities**:

- Produce graphic visualisation and mock-ups of products and point-of-sale installations.
- Design product packaging and labels from concept to print-ready artwork.
- Insert translations into product packaging and labels for export markets.
- Design instore point-of-sale items from concept through to the finished product and all intermediate stages.
- Design monthly sales support items like price tickets, trade presenters and catalogues.
- Undertake design of print and promotional materials from concept to production ready artwork.
- Undertake deep-etching and retouching of product images for use in marketing and sales collateral.
- Undertake proofing process of packaging prior to print.
- Manage and keep up to date any in-house image libraries.
- Maintain in-house competitive intelligence and branding.
- Work with marketing team to supply marketing material, both printed and online.
- Keep up-to-date with graphic design software and tools
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of printing processes and adhere to delivery as required.

**Requirements**:

- 3-year National Diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent
- 2-5 years’ experience at an agency or in a corporate design team
- Understanding of repro principles and print processes
- Ability to take jobs from concept through to finished art
- Proficiency on Mac OS
- Excellent eye for detail and meticulous about craftmanship of work
- Great time management skills and work ethic
- Ability to hit the ground running and work independently
