**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Forecasting**
- Assists the Supply Chain Manager in developing and maintaining a rolling demand forecast model by product/SKU, to enable the supply chain planning process to function optimally and to avoid over or under selling any SKU’s.
- Draws up and maintain a master schedule of suppliers & SKU’s to establish sequence and lead times of each step in the primary inbound process, to meet production, shipping, clearing and distribution dates according to actual and forecasts sales demand.
- Reviews daily, weekly & monthly inventory cover days to actual & forecast sales with distributor to identify and remedy any over or under selling of SKU’s.
- Coordinates cross-functional analysis activities to reconcile significant variances in forecast SKU usage versus actual; because of changes in sales mix, product recipes, wastage and unaccounted variances, per SKU
- Works with finance, marketing and the distributor, to translate sales forecasts into sales mix estimates and AUV volumes, to estimate the forecast SKU needs for up to three-month lead times or the minimum re-order lead times for local and imported products.
- Develops inbound logistics planning tools and spreadsheets for stock levels at distribution centers, inbound suppliers & restaurants; tracking in line with restaurant growth.
- Establishes SKU tolerances weekly reports for:

- Expired stock
- Safety stock levels
- Re-order lead times
- New products
- Promotions
- LTO’s
- New store openings
- Traffic seasonality
- Honeymoon effect on seasonality

**Stock Control**
- Reviews the orders of stock by the Distributor to maintain adequate days stock cover.
- Conducts an inventory review at the restaurant level - to within the agreed inventory parameters for seasonal high peaks and low period demand to avoid hoarding.
- Ensures that agreed stock levels of finished products at the Primary Inbound Suppliers are maintained at all-times such that distributor orders can be met at 98%.
- Ensures stock orders are placed with sufficient lead times and at correct prices/ forex rates by distributor.
- Manages the slow-moving stock at distributor level.
- Highlights slow moving stock for potential LTO’s to avoid material stock write offs.
- Reviews sufficient sock available in all DC’s and avoid unnecessary infill costs between DC’s. Reviews forecasts and stock holdings per SKU for Burger King, by utilizing POS sales data and stock holding data on a daily and weekly basis.

**Stakeholder Communication**
- Liaises with supply chain manager, marketing, distributor, suppliers, operations & restaurants, regarding new SKU’s for upcoming campaigns and promotions.
- Interacts with marketing & operations to understand demand forecast drivers.
- Monitors the logistics order lead times of all International container orders

**Planning**
- Assists with the develop of business expansion plan in line with the business strategy to identify competitive alternative suppliers.
- Reconciles SKU volumes to roll out targets
- Assists with management of the demand planning process and the demand planning tools to support the relevant demand planning activities.
- Compiles strategy presentations for management to review and approve
- Provides input to the supply planning in the organization to develop inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
- Responsible for driving resolution of any shelf life issues on any packaging or raw materials with Supply Chain Manager & primary suppliers as well as any raw product complaint processes
- Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times for new product development
- Documents workflow and coordinates the approval

**General**
- Assists with loading new commodities on to SPEQ system
- Liaise with suppliers to onboard new SKUs with distributor
- Assist with commodity price tracking
- Assist with data compilation for Monthly Business Reviews Assist with Supply chain documentation

**Minimum Requirements**
- Relevant Degree or Diploma
- 2 - 3 years QSR / Retail experience in a similar role
- Strong financial background - forecasting and basic statistics / demand planning
- Strong analytical, numerical modelling skills
- MS Office - advanced experience in excel
- Attention to Detail
- Deadline Orientated
