We are looking for seasoned sales specialist or business development specialist with a transactional banking background to provide specialist value added services and solutions to customers. In this role you will work towards meeting business growth in Transactional Banking Sales targets (i.e. Trade Finance, International Banking and Transactional Banking), by customer acquisition, retention and facilitating internal and external relationships across stakeholder touch points.
You will also be required to identify and generate “new to bank” income by driving the Transactional Banking sales agenda directly through the RBB Coverage teams
**Job Description**:
Your key accountabilities will include the following;
- Leveraging deep rooted sales, product skills and business acumen to identify sales opportunities in conjunction and collaboration with the RBB Coverage teams across the relevant area to ensure the delivery of the Transactional Banking budget as allocated to the RBB client segment.
- Identifying and reviewing client needs to provide advice and deliver products and services by maintaining a strong relationship with clients and stakeholders.
- Resolving client issues appropriately and escalate those unable to resolve to the respective banker or Regional Sales Manager
- Identifying market and industry trends, by analyzing sector research, economic periodicals and industry journals and advise RBB stakeholders and clients on these.
- Establishing relationships with potential clients and pursue opportunities to expand Transactional Banking Sales - BB SA business for the related segment/sector.
- Contracting new business opportunities by identifying current and new clients for expansion in transaction volumes and value extraction through cross selling of products or services.
- Identifying, establishing, and nurturing internal stakeholder relationships through introduction, presentations and regular feedback and networking.
- A B Degree in Commerce or equivalent qualification
- Over 6 years experience in general banking as well as as International Banking / Trade Finance advisory
Education
Bachelors Degree and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (required)
