**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a passionate and tech-savvy educator to lead our Information Technology curriculum from Grade R-7 and oversee the school’s digital learning strategy. This role combines teaching responsibilities with strategic digital leadership, positioning you at the forefront of technology integration in education.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teaching Duties:_
- Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned IT and Computer classes for Grade R-7.
- Innovate lesson planning with modern techniques, tools, and evaluations.
- Create a stimulating digital learning environment and support individual learner growth.

- and Co-Curricular Involvement:_
- Lead or support computer clubs and tech initiatives.
- Organise and supervise events such as coding competitions and tech fairs.
- Collaborate with staff to enhance other school activities using digital tools.
- General / Administrative Duties:_
- Manage IT budgets, procurement, stock, and maintenance.
- Support school technology infrastructure and digital resources.
- Participate in school appraisal systems (e.g., QMS).
- Represent the principal when necessary.
- Coaching and Professional Development:_
- Upskill staff in integrating educational technology into their teaching.
- Conduct observations and offer feedback to improve tech-enhanced learning.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:_
- Communicate learner progress to parents and support home-school tech alignment.
- Forge partnerships with local organisations and community groups.
- Collaborate across schools to share IT best practices.
- Collaboration & Strategic Involvement:_
- Present edtech tools in weekly Phase meetings.
- Align IT projects with the school’s broader strategic direction.
- Control & Compliance:_
- Monitor IT-related academic planning and assessment across phases.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and reporting standards.
- School Marketing & Digital Presence:_
- Lead school marketing in tech-focused education.
- Manage the school’s website and social media, showcasing key events and updates.
- Enhance the school’s digital footprint through positive, engaging content.

**Qualifications, Experience & Attributes**:

- A recognised teaching qualification (BEd or PGCE) with specialisation or experience in ICT education.
- Proven skill in digital tools, social media management, and educational technology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with platforms like Google Workspace.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational capabilities.
- A creative, growth-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation in education.
