**Sales**:
Drive a collaborative process with the Brand executive team to develop a strategic roadmap for the brand’s international growth

Take ownership and responsibility for the execution of the strategy

Development of long-term relationships in relevant markets and ongoing evaluation of the international sales network

Compilation of sales budget and allocation of stock.

Communication with outlets to determine sales targets

Communication with distribution agents internationally to increase international distribution and premiumisation

Responsible for the development of annual International Revenue and Expense budgets, operating profit (Profit and Loss)

Establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products

Maintaining sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors

Establishing and adjusting selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.

**Promotions**:
Compilation and execution of promotional plans with business associates and the media

Development of promotional material for international markets

Supervision of the execution of all in-market promotional activities (partnering with regional agents/partners)

Participation in relevant international wine shows

Liaison with winemaker/s in participation in local and international promotional activities.

**General Management**:
Compilation of monthly management report

Review and analysis of market macro and industry trends to identify and plan for opportunities and threats

Handling all administrative tasks applicable to the role and objectives.

**Commercial**:
Efficient management of the operational budget to maximise return on international investment

Ensure beneficial commercial agreements/contracts with partners, with clear performance objectives, metrics and evaluation processes

**Qualifications and Experience**

A 3-year tertiary qualification in marketing or business would be ideal

5-8 years’ experience in an international sales environment in the wine industry,

Fluent in English. Additional languages would be advantageous

No restrictions on the ability to travel frequently

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R70 000,00 - R80 000,00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelors (preferred)

**Experience**:

- International sales in the wine industry: 5 years (preferred)
