**The IIE Vega Durban Campus has vacancies for Part-Time Lecturer: Communication Design and Communication Design Technology for the 2025 academic year.**
- CDES7311 (Communication Design)
- CODT7311 (Communication Design Technology)

**Competencies Required**:

- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Passion for customer service
- Demonstrated ability to manage work and self proactively
- Organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to form and manage relationships

**Minimum Qualification Requirements**:
**Ideal**:

- BA Honours (NQF8) in Graphic Design/ Visual Communication Design/ Information Design **OR**:

- NQF Level 8 qualification in a Visual Design field with Adobe Creative Cloud software skills.

**Minimum Work Experience Requirements**:

- Relevant experience in graphic design or visual communication design field.
- Professional Portfolio to illustrate expertise in Software, especially WordPress and MailChimp.

**Working Conditions**:

- Please note that this is an Independent Contractor (part
- time) role

**Working Hours**:

- Lectures take place Monday to Friday: 08:00 -17: 30 - specific days and times depend on the timetable for the specific module(s)
