**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Prepare for surveys by extracting relevant records, noting sheets, and diagrams from the Surveyor-General’s website
- Georeference architectural and engineering drawings to determine precise setting-out points
- Transform coordinates between different systems to maintain accuracy
- Conduct fieldwork using sound survey principles, verifying and checking results
- Perform various surveys, including topographical, engineering, cadastral (beacon relocations, subdivisions, servitudes), and sectional title (new and amending schemes)
- Compile and submit cadastral and sectional title survey records for approval
- Liaise effectively with clients and consultants to define project scope and requirements
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying/Geomatics
- Registered with SAGC as a Professional Surveyor
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience post SAGC registration
- Strong knowledge of South African land survey laws, regulations, and best practices
- Proficiency in total stations, GPS receivers, laser scanners, and CAD software
- Boundary reconstruction experience with high accuracy
- Valid driver’s licence
- Fully proficient in Afrikaans and English
- Ability to work outdoors in various environmental conditions
