**Qualification**:
Relevant Technical Qualification for dealing with YELLOW PLANT EQUIPMENT. S26-S28

**Must have experience on repairing and maintaining Yellow Plant Machinery**

**Experience and Skills Required**:

- At least 5 years in a managerial experience - people and processes
- At least 5 years in a plant and equipment operations management experience
- Leadership and management skills
- Ability to problem solve.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills - verbal and written.
- Computer Literacy Required
- MS Office and Excel
- Buildsmart (optional)

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Managing plant activities through co-ordination of servicing and plant hire schedule
- Maintenance and repair operations of all fleet vehicles and plant
- Ensure regular review of all plant to identify proactive maintenance requirements.
- Assess plant breakdowns, perform diagnostics, provide guidance to mechanics and subsequent review of repairs and job cards completed.
- Lead/assist with repairs as and when needed.
- Review reports and analytics (e.g., Oil sample) to identify any areas of concern.
- Responsible for oversight of plant diesel consumption, fuel levels and live tracking of plant activity
- Assume responsibility for the cost control of all plant and spares under his/her control.
- Report on plant availability, breakdowns and costings relating to plant and overheads.
- Engaging existing/prospective customers of hiring out equipment
- Make recommendations on new plant purchases together with the respective motivations.
- Ensure plant operators trainings and associated certificates are up to date.
- Prepare maintenance repair budgets and estimates.
