**Role Purpose**

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Minimum 120 FAIS Credits (NQF Level 5)
- At least 10 years Commercial underwriting experience in an Insurance Company with specific focus on technical wordings
- Insurance qualification would be an added advantage
- RE5 Short Term (Commercial Lines)
- Extensive experience and knowledge of commercial wordings
- Project management

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Specific responsibility for GGI strategic project to improve, rationalise and consolidate the current suite of commercial wordings offered by Guardrisk General Insurance with key deliverables as follows:

- analyse current commercial multiperil wording and determine if market compatible and fit for GGI purpose and risk appetite
- consolidate the various commercial offerings of GGI (commercial property, motor, personal accident, liability, education, retail motor industry) into the multiperil wording
- provide for endorsements for special coverages/extensions
- assist IT project team in providing for the digital architecture of GGI commercial offering
- maintenance and oversight of project once completed
- Ensuring adherence to professional standards of service and compliance with all legislative and licensing requirements
- Reviewing, rationalizing and consolidating the portfolio of GGI commercial wordings in line with GGI Strategic Project
- Developing / reviewing rating and underwriting guidelines for GGI commercial business
- Ensuring compliance with all legislative and licensing requirements
- Collaboration with compliance areas
