**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in accordance with the syllabus and curriculum requirements.
- Preparing and delivering lessons and assessments that engage and challenge students while meeting the learning objectives.
- Setting, marking, and grading assessments, assignments, and exams.
- Providing constructive feedback to students to support their learning and progress.
- Developing and revising course materials, including lesson plans, handouts, and assessments.
- Staying up-to-date with developments in the field of business studies and accounting.
- Participating in the college's academic activities, such as research projects, academic committees, and professional development opportunities.
- Providing academic and pastoral support to students.
- Assisting with administrative tasks related to teaching, such as record keeping, attendance monitoring, and reporting.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies or a related field, with a specialization in Accounting.
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in teaching Business Studies, with a specialization in Accounting, at the N4-N6 level.
- Excellent knowledge of the curriculum and syllabus requirements for the Nated National Diploma.
- Strong pedagogical skills, with the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
