Reservations and Conference Consultant
A luxury lodge & hotel group based in Bryanston, Johannesburg requires an experienced Reservations & Conference Consultant with at least 2-3 years’ experience in a reservations department for multiple properties.
Scope & General Purpose:
- Manage daily administrative tasks pertaining to the reservation elements of the business
- Perform all other duties assigned by the reservations manager Requirements:
- Proven experience as a reservation’s consultant or similar position
- Experience in co-ordinating conference and wedding groups
- Good computer skills (MS Office, MS Excel, PowerPoint)
- PMS system knowledge - Nebula, eRes and Hotelier would be advantageous
- Proficiency in English
- Well-organized with good time management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A team player with high level of dedication
- Works well and accurately under pressure
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
- Microsoft Office, especially with Good Excel Skills
- eRES / Nebula, Hotelier or programmes of a similar nature
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
- 2-3 years’ experience in a tourism/travel call centre or reservations department for multiple properties
- Must have a good command of the English language with good writing skills.
- Solid interpersonal skills
- Valid RSA ID
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bryanston, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
