A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 3 children

**Area**: Plattekloof, Western Cape
**Children’s Ages**: 6 (Boy) - Grade R (Severe ADHD), 12 (Girl) - Grade 6 and 15 (Girl) - Grade 9
**Child’s Neurodivergence Snapshot**:6 year old -**Epeleptic and ADHD (medicated for both), super busy and very impulsive, lots of energy, he is very smart. Quite emotional, needs someone stern but loving. He is fine with routine.
**Support Style**:OT once a week, Speech therapy at school. He loves messy play, quite space, he loves building things.
**Working hours**: Monday - Friday 14:30 to 18:00 (Occasional weekend work by prior arrangement and paid additionally)
**Duties**:The au pair will collect the children from school and transport them to extra-murals, assist with and supervise homework (No academic support needed for 15 year old, just oversee and answer, run general family errands, engage the children in intellectually stimulating play and activities, bathe the children and prepare meals, provide occasional babysitting and weekend work, and travel with the family.
**Special Requirements**: Prior experience with kids, a big sister to teenage girls, lives in the vicinity, patience and experience with activities for a busy boy with ADHD. Very social, busy, crazy cool family with a large extended family in Durbanville area and needs a personality and needs to be firm to fit in. Both parents work in the events industry and travel occasionally where au pair ideally needs to stay over with Ouma to look after kids for a few nights. Preferably over 21 years old.
**Start Date and contract term**: 12 January 2026 - Permanent contract
**Salary**: R9000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
**Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
**Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
**Must have a clear criminal record
**Must have a passion for children
**Must have Matric
**Must have a South African ID document.
