Shift Leader: Robot Welding

The Shift Leader: Robot Welding is responsible for leading the Robot welding team during the assigned shift, ensuring high quality and accurate welding.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Lead the robotic welding team during your shift—coach, support, and guide them as needed.
- Monitor the performance of robotic welding systems and make adjustments as necessary.
- Troubleshoot welding equipment and robotic cells to minimize downtime.
- Keep production on track with the schedule, making sure quality and safety standards are met.
- Help train new operators and team members on welding processes and robotic systems.
- Work with maintenance and engineering if machines need repairs or improvements.
- Keep accurate records and shift reports—production numbers, downtime, issues, etc.
- Communicate with other shift leads and supervisors to keep things running smoothly 24/7.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**

Matric (essential)

Welding Trade (Beneficial)

±2 years Proven experience in Robot Welding

±1 year Experience in leading a team or supervising operations in a production environment

Solid experience with Robotic Welding systems.

Strong understanding of welding processes.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Handle machinery with care to prevent damage.
