The Happy Snappy Photo Co is part of a leading global group in tourism photography providing proven solutions to add revenue and marketing reach to tourism attractions around the world. We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team and take control of our admin and correspondence.

Whilst each site has a pre-appointed site manager, a good support structure is key to a successfully business. With this in mind we have created the newly formed Team Leader role.

Over and above the responsibilities listed below, it is paramount that this person supports the site Manager is ensuring the site reaches its targets and maintains the three magic steps. When the Site Manager is away, the Team Leader will be responsible for performance and staff conduct.

What we need:

- Communicate targets to all staff and motivate to achieve them
- Conduct onsite training of new frontline sales staff and any other employees according to the Happy Snappy Induction Manual
- Supervise and report on Site Performance
- Monitor all Key Performance Indicators on a daily basis
- Supervise individual staff performance
- Maintain site and staff look and feel according to the Happy Snappy and the partner attraction’s criteria
- Ensure staff are in correct uniform and have name badges
- Ensure staff understands the daily sheet report.
- Ensure daily sheet gets filled out accurately and sent to the relevant people on a daily basis
- Fulfill all duties of onsite stock management including stock counting, ordering and receiving, ensuring all stock records are up to date at all times.
- Ensure photos are processed in “Nimbu” on a daily bases and photos are online and with the right templates
- Supply to head office any information required
- Motivate the staff and lead by example
- Communicate any suggestions you may have to make work, products, staff, systems better
- Encourage suggestions from other work colleagues
- Perform the general duties of a “Photographer and Frontline Sales Person” as per its Job Description, capturing visitors’ images, producing photobooks and other Happy Snappy merchandise, selling the photobooks and other merchandise to visitors, ensuring quality of service is maintained and that visitors leave the partner attraction with an amplified experience.
- Represent well the Happy Snappy brand and abide by the Happy Snappy Code of

You are:

- Able to be a leader
- Highly proficient in the use of MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Professional, Google docs
- Able to motivate staff and achieve results
- Able to forecast and prepare for busy periods whilst keeping costs down
- Willing to learn and grow your career
- Able to remain calm and collected during challenges
- Are able lead a team through actions and not words
- Able to build effective relationships across the firm in order to gather information and deliver results.
- Able to communicate with Managers regarding key issues
- Familiar with the use of camera equipment and able to share your knowledge with the staff.
- Understand how the printers in your site work and the basics of maintaining them

You Have:

- Matric and Tertiary education
- Your Own Transport
- Some experience in management ( this can be offset to drive and ability )
- 2-3 years working experience in a customer service and sales environment.
- A proven track record in sales
