Deli Assistant

**LOCATION**: Constantia

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**:
To perform the overall operations within the Cold Meat Counter department by implementing the required standards and providing excellent customer service for the profitability of the Deli.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES**:

- Must have at least 3 years’ experience working in a Deli environment in a similar role
- Knowledge and skills required to provide excellent customer services

**KEY ACOUNTABILITIES**:

- Prepare and timeously present all specialities and display in an attractive manner.
- Keep the display fridges, store rooms and cold-rooms in an orderly manner on a daily basis
- Check the price change register to confirm whether prices have not changed.
- Render a speedy and effective service to customers as required by operations.
- Gain continuous knowledge of products.
- Maintain housekeeping and food safety standards.
- Attend stock takes as scheduled

**SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES**:

- Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a team
