**Minimum Requirements**:

- Matric
- 2 years experience in reception in a customer facing role (preferably in the fitness industry)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (telephone skills, internal communications and client relationships).
- willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Trustworthy, honest, punctual and respectful
- Demonstrate sound work ethic
- Proven leadership skills
- Payments processing (credit card, cash)
- Issue of receipts
- Follow banking procedures
- Follow procedures on handover of cash and reception at beginning and end of each shift at.
- Assist members with general account queries
- This include: explaining the policies, terms and conditions of the following
- i.e.: membership freeze, cancellations, transfer of membership, change of details.
- Refer new potential members to sales office.
- Maintain walk-in potential member list for sales department.
- Answer telephone, friendly efficient manner and transfer to relevant department.
- Access Control
- Regulate and monitor all members accessing and exiting the facility, check member is up to date on account.
- Notify member of any arrears, but do not get involved in making payment arrangements, keep updated notes in complaints book.
- Involve debtors controller when need for payment plan.
- Ensure all non-members that need to access the facility sign in on register.
- General
- Ensure that reception area is always tidy, clean and neat.
- Ensure all enough stock of all forms are available at reception for the duration of the shift.
- Be an ambassador for Ignite Fitness at all times, set an example by engaging with members in professional and friendly manner.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
