***:**_Key Responsibilities:_**

**- **Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities for youth ages 3-17, including games, sports, arts and crafts, and educational programs**

**- **Supervise and monitor youth activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants**

**- **Build positive relationships with youth and their families, providing emotional support and guidance as needed**

**- **Collaborate with other youth counselors and crew members to plan and execute ship-wide events and activities**

**- **Maintain accurate records of youth participation and behavior, and report any concerns to the Youth Program Manager**

**- **Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols, as well as company policies and procedures**

**- **Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and best practices**

**- **Assist with the organization and setup of youth program areas and supplies**

**- **Act as a role model for youth, promoting positive values and behavior at all times**

**- **Maintain a clean and organized youth program area, following all sanitation and hygiene guidelines**

**_ Qualifications:_**

**- **Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, education, or a related field**

**- **Minimum of 2 years of experience working with youth, preferably in a camp, school, or recreational setting**

**- **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with youth and their families**

**- **Strong organizational and time-management skills**

**- **Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment**

**- **Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed**

**- **CPR and First Aid certification preferred**

**- **Must pass a background check and drug test**
