The vacancy exists within the Documentation department in the Distributions Division and reports to the Supervisor: Copyright. The purpose of the position is to ensure that all works on the SAMRO system are activated or amended with the correct copyright owners and shareholding.

**Key Performance areas**:

- Activation and amending of Copyright
- Quality of activated works ‍

**Minimum requirements**:

- Intermediatelevel of PC & Keyboard skills including working knowledge of wordprocessing & spreadsheet packages;
- Matric;
- 6months’ experience as Data Capturer;
- Excellentdata capturing skills (speed and accuracy);
- Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills;
- Abasic numerical ability;
- Provenability to analyse information with a logic systematic approach;
- Workingknowledge of SAMRO systems and research methodology would be an advantage.
