Job description

This is a summary of what the job involves to help you decide if you are a good fit.
- The Equipment General Assistant performs various tasks at the distribution center to ensure safe and accurate shipping of products to and from customers. This role supports the distribution center's goals of excellent customer service, engaged employees, and profitability.

What you'll do

This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.
- Remove 3rd party equipment from DC and prepare for return.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding accuracy expectations and productivity minimums as directed by Operations Management.
- Operates safety sensitive and heavy equipment such as, but not limited to, forklifts, tuggers, pallet jacks, and flat bed carts in a safe and effective manner to minimize the risk of injury, or property damage.
- Ensure the pre-determined equipment pool is maintained so there is no loss of productivity.
- Performs pre-inspections and post-inspections of all equipment before and after use.
- Ensures security of company assets.
- Performs any other equipment related duties as required by Operations Management.
- Assist in the maintenance, cleaning, and storage of equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
- Support in organising and arranging equipment and materials in designated areas.
- Assist in the safe movement and storage of products within the distribution center.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory tracking and record-keeping related to equipment.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed.

- Experience: General Assistant, General Worker, Warehouse Worker
- English
- Within 25km from job
- Clear criminal record
