Technical Writer

The Technical Writer is part of the Software Development team and responsible for producing high quality product technical documents. These include printable, online and video documentation that involves writing new documentation and online help for products being developed as well as maintaining current software documentation. Part of the responsibly is to determine and reasonably implement techniques of making documentation as accessible and interactive as possible.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- IT related or Engineering degreetor diploma is preferable
- 3 years professional experience in a related role, e.g. Business Analysis, Engineering, Technical Writing, Editing and Information Design
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Competent with technical writing tools such as MS Word, Madcap Flare, Robohelp, etc.
- Ability to develop and edit content according to written standards, and follow established procedures
- Ability to structure information into creative, modern and stimulating user-friendly formats
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Implement and Manage Technical Writing Discipline
- Develop well-designed user manuals and release documentation
- Manage documentation Process
- Build knowledge of new technical tools and relevant technology on a continuous basis
- Participate actively in the scrum process
