An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced **SAP SAC Consultant** to join a regulatory reporting automation project within a large enterprise environment. The role requires expertise in **SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)** — both **Planning** and **Analytics/Reporting** — with experience across financial processes and data-driven dashboards.

The project aims to **automate end-to-end reporting** for a sub-set of regulatory returns — from **data ingestion and transformation** through to **report generation** using SAC.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**SAC Planning**:

- Design and implement **SAP SAC Planning models** for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Build and maintain **complex calculations**, **input forms**, and **data transformations** to enable streamlined planning processes.
- Configure **data integration** between SAC and SAP/non-SAP systems.
- Implement **workflows**, **version control**, and **data locking** functionalities.
- Provide support for **what-if scenarios**, **predictive planning**, and **variance analysis**.
- Ability to write **R-scripts** for custom calculations and logic.

**SAC Analytics & Reporting**:

- Develop interactive **SAC dashboards** and **stories** to provide meaningful insights across finance and other business functions.
- Create **KPIs**, **charts**, and **custom widgets** to enhance data storytelling and decision support.
- Optimise **data connectivity** with SAP BW, S/4HANA, HANA, and Excel sources.
- Troubleshoot and enhance **dashboard performance** and execution time.

**Required Skills & Experience**:
**Mandatory Skills**:

- ** 5+ years’ experience** in SAP Analytics, with at least **2+ years in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)**.
- Proven delivery on **SAC Planning** and **Analytics** projects across various industries.
- Hands-on experience with:

- SAC data modelling and scripting (Advanced Formula)
- Data connectivity (SAP BW, HANA, 3rd-party)
- SAC security concepts (roles, teams, data access control)
- Predictive features such as **Smart Predict**
- Strong knowledge of **financial planning, budgeting**, and **forecasting processes**:

- Strong experience developing **user-friendly dashboards** with visual appeal
- Proficiency in **R-script writing**

**Desirable Skills**:

- Exposure to **BW/4HANA** or **SAP S/4HANA**:

- Experience in regulatory or financial reporting environments
- SAP Analytics Cloud **certification** is advantageous

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels
- Self-motivated and proactive in staying up to date with new SAC features
- Comfortable working in a **fast-paced, hybrid work environment**:
