**The Role**

**Skills and Experience** Minimum**:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience supervising / managing RTT operations
- Must have experience and knowledge in managing RTT operational systems
- Must be willing to work night shift, weekends and Public Holidays
- SLE /4GL system knowledge
- Must have the capability to plan, organise, control and perform under pressure
- Must have managerial / leadership skills
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems

**Key Accountabilities** Receiving**:

- Incoming container management (Container header and container problem report management)
- All SOP relating to the physical offloading of containers and container receiving.
- Supervising SWAD machine operators and managing volume hit ratios
- Training and managing receiving checkers

**Delivery Management**:

- Route Planning
- Vehicle Allocation and Utilization
- SLA / Service level management
- Vehicle departure time management
- Multiple Trip management
- Late Delivery management
- UWL report management
- Cage Exception report management
- Delivery due date management
- Launch delivery management
- PDA delivery exception management
- All SOP relating to Drivers

**Dispatch**:

- Managing trans-shipments
- Container ordering and placement
- Managing outgoing container inspections
- Manage container departure times
- Managing outgoing container problem reports
- Cartage Management
- Managing all SOP relating to the physical loading of containers and dispatching outbound containers
- Managing and training loading checkers and supervisors

**Collection Management**:

- Collection report management
- Missed collection management

**Driver De-briefing**:

- Outstanding POD Management
- POD Quality Management
- IBT processing and dispatch management
- All SOP relating to driver de-briefing and pod accepting
- Returns management
- Loaded not assigned management / Assigned not loaded management
- De-briefer license management
- Endorse POD management

**Personality and Attributes** Minimum**:

- Strong leadership abilities
- Must have a diverse personality and can communicate with staff members on all levels.
- Ability to foster and maintain relationships
- Positive and service-oriented attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment
- Self-motivated
- Must have own transport
- Must be able to work long hours

**Other** Minimum**:

- Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric)
- 3 year degree / 3 year diploma would be an advantage
