Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Oversee, manage, and mentor a team of Financial Wellness Consultants.
- Develop training programs to enhance team expertise in client care and financial advisory.
- Monitor team performance, set clear goals, and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing work culture focused on client success.
Client Engagement Strategy
- Define and implement client care strategies that prioritize trust, empathy, and effective financial solutions.
- Ensure consultants evaluate clients’ financial challenges thoroughly and deliver personalized, actionable advice.
- Create frameworks for consistent, high-quality client support throughout their financial journey.
Operational Oversight
- Monitor the team’s client engagement metrics and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Manage the client care process to optimize efficiency while maintaining a client-focused approach.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all client interactions.
Relationship Building
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships through direct and indirect engagement.
- Address escalated client concerns with professionalism, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Act as a trusted advisor, promoting holistic financial wellness solutions tailored to each client.
Strategic Contribution
- Collaborate with senior management to align team goals with company objectives.
- Identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation in client care delivery.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance client retention and satisfaction.
Qualifications / Experience / Attributes
- Proven experience in a leadership role within financial wellness, financial advisory, or client care environments.
- Strong knowledge of financial services, including debt review, financial planning, or insurance products.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire a team, fostering growth and excellence.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a commitment to ethical practices and long-term client satisfaction.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Confident and assertive with a go-getter mindset.
- Articulate and persuasive, with excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
- Previous experience in managing call centre agents will be advantageous.
